Significant Literature

Walden_Thoreau.jpgMost reform movements produced significant literature which was used to clarify their position, get people involved, and persuade people to join. Some of the literature may still be around today while some may be forgotten once the reform movement dies down.

Two examples of significant pieces of literature which are still remembered today are "The Declaration of Independence" and "The Gettysburg Address".

What literature (newspapers, pamphlets, books, poetry, essays) did your movement produce? Is the literature still around today? Do we still use it? Is it still persuading people and making a difference? How do you know this?
